About MAACE

The Mississippi Association for Adult and Community Education (MAACE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, improvement, and expansion of Adult Education throughout Mississippi. As a 501(c)(3) educational and charitable organization, MAACE advocates for lifelong learning as an essential part of personal growth, community development, and workforce advancement.

Our Purpose

MAACE exists to ensure that Adult Education philosophies and practices are recognized as an integral and necessary part of the educational process. We strive to strengthen the impact of Adult Education by supporting educators, administrators, and community partners who share our belief that learning is a lifelong journey.

Our Vision

To assist and support the Adult Education and Workforce Development population—and all those who embrace the tools and processes that help create a thriving environment for adult learners across Mississippi and beyond.

Our goals are to advocate the adoption and expansion of the Adult Education philosophies as an integral and necessary part of the educational process by:
