OPTIONS

A juried professional journal, OPTIONS features contributions from adult education professionals. Published periodically, the purpose of the journal is to focus on applications of adult learning theory, concepts and ideas. The goals of OPTIONS are to promote an atmosphere which encourages critical questions and alternative approaches to problems related to lifelong learning of adults and to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of adult learning and ways to enhance the learning potential of adults.

MAACE seeks articles and book reviews for inclusion in the journal. All relevant well-written manuscripts will be considered for review. Authors are encouraged to submit works addressing but not limited to:
  • Adult Basic Education

  • Program Evaluation

  • Technology in Adult Education

  • Recruitment & Retention

  • Theory-to-Practice

  • Multi-cultural Issues

  • Instructional Strategies

  • Gerontology

  • Staff Development
