A Message from the President
With that said, I invite you to join our association and participate in our adult education professional development activities. In October of this year, we will be bringing association board directors together from around the State to discuss what we do as separate associations as well as what we might be able to do together to better serve our constituents. This meeting will be summarized in our association journal, Options, to be sent to all of our members. In addition, we will be hosting our 33rd Annual MAACE Conference to be held in Lansing on the evening of March 19, 2009 and during the entire day on March 20, 2009. We are looking forward to this wonderful event! This year, we will focus on Partnership and how we can form and maintain partnerships to better serve our adult learners. We encourage you to check out the conference information online at our website www.maace.org and review the Call for Proposals and Conference Registration materials. Please consider submitting a proposal to present or register to attend the day and a half long conference. We also encourage you to share the information with your colleagues in Adult and Continuing Education.
If you are interested in helping to plan this
conference or in being an exhibitor contact:
Karen Peacock,
2009 Conference Chair Sincerely, Julie Brockman Ph.D. P.S. Look for our newsletter, Topics, and news about the organization, members, board of directors, and 2007 annual conference on this website, www.maace.org. |
